One Night at Upper Moro

Really quick trip to test out some gear for the upcoming backpacking season:

• New packs

• New tent

• New sleeping pads

Started in the afternoon on Sunday and hiked north up the No Name Ridge to the Ticketron Trail that passes through Deer Canyon camp. Ascended from the camp to the Red Tailed Ridge, then continued east until wrapping back south along the Moro Ridge. Got to our designated site at Upper Moro camp in the late afternoon and set up camp. The night was clear and calm.

In the morning we quickly packed up and continued down the Moro Ridge, down the Moro Ridge Spur, and ultimately down the aptly named "BFI" or "big f****** incline". Due to this terrain feature, I suggest you do this loop in a clockwise direction like we opted to!
